Create a one-minute video telling the world what the offshore moratorium will do to your company, your family, your friends and your community. All we want is 1 minute of your time to tell the President and the world how you feel.

In response to the situation in the Gulf of Mexico, President Obama has extended a moratorium on permits to drill new deepwater wells for 6 months. It’s estimated that the President’s decision could result in the exodus of all deepwater rigs and inversely affect the jobs of more than 75,000 hard-working Americans. Now more than ever, it is imperative that we respond and take a stand as one unified industry.

In order for us to make a strong statement in response to this decision we are asking you to create a one-minute video telling President Obama and the people of our country what the offshore moratorium will do to your company, your family, your friends and your community.

When preparing your response please take some of the following questions into consideration:

- How will this affect your family?
- How will the moratorium affect your business?
- What are the implications on your business within the next 6 months?
- What suggestions do you have to fix these issues?

As your representative, LOGA wants one minute videos from a wide spectrum within our industry: CEO's, VP's, Engineers, Accountants, Company men, rig hands, roustabouts, mud loggers, geologists, landmen, salesmen, owners, operators, technicians, assistants, spouses, children, retirees, elected officials and any other person who will be inversely affected by this decision.

Submission Process
Videos will be reviewed and posted on the LOGA website, where they will be viewed by the public, media and elected officials. All uploaded videos are subjected to the YouTube Terms of Agreement.
