All possible steps are being taken to defeat the increase in taxes on our industry that have been proposed by President Obama.  The incentives that he plans on removing and additional fees and taxes he wants to impose on our industry would cause a severe decrease in exploration and production of oil and gas in the US.  This would lead to losses of tens of thousands of jobs, a sharp increase of the cost of fuel and energy for the entire country, threaten our national security and would increase our reliance on foreign oil- the exact things that the President seeks to stop.
