of the best non-fiction books of 2002 by Publishers Weekly.
His latest book, Gusher of Lies: The Dangerous Delusions of “Energy Independence,” was published in March by PublicAffairs. A review of Gusher of Lies in the New York Times called Bryce “something of a visionary and perhaps even a revolutionary.”
He is the managing editor of Energy Tribune magazine and a contributing writer
for The Texas Observer. Bryce has appeared on numerous TV and radio programs ranging from the BBC and CNN to PBS and NPR. An apiarist, he lives in Austin,
with his wife, Lorin, their three children, and a hyperactive bird dog named Biscuit. |
