Gifford Briggs,Vice President

Gifford Briggs serves primarily as a lobbyist for LOGA and oversees the Political Action Committee of the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association (LOGPAC). In addition to his others role at LOGA, Briggs oversees the website design, social media outreach and the marketing identity of the Association.

Briggs first joined LOGA (formerly LIOGA) in 1994 while attending college. He served as the Membership Coordinator and helped organize many firsts for LOGA, including the first annual meeting, Gulf Coast Prospect & Shale Expo, and board meetings. After graduating from college, he moved to Atlanta to pursue a career in restaurant management. He returned to LOGA in 2007.

Briggs studied marketing at Oglethorpe University and Louisiana State University. He is married to Jackie Wright, and the couple currently resides in Baton Rouge with their son, Gifford Ashley Briggs, Jr. and is expecting one on the way.
